Winvoice Agent Installation
Winvoice Agent is a modern, high-performance background service (Windows Service) built on .NET 10. It is installed on your local server or workstation to connect locally installed ERP systems (such as Visma Administration 500, 1000, or 2000) with the Winvoice cloud platform.

System Requirements & Prerequisites
Before starting the installation, verify that the following prerequisites are met:
- Operating System:
- Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 or later (64-bit).
- Windows 10 Pro / Enterprise or Windows 11 Pro / Enterprise (64-bit).
- Runtimes & Frameworks:
- .NET 10 Desktop Runtime (the installer downloads and installs this automatically if needed).
- Disk Space & Memory:
- Minimum 500 MB free disk space and 2 GB RAM.
- Permissions:
- Administrator rights on the local computer/server during installation.
- Read and write permissions to the shared company directory for Visma Administration.
Network & Firewall Configuration
Winvoice Agent utilizes a strictly outbound connection model, making deployment extremely IT- and security-friendly:
- No Inbound Ports: Your firewall does not need to open any incoming ports.
- Outbound Traffic: The agent exclusively requires permission to send outbound HTTPS traffic over standard port 443 (TLS 1.3 / 1.2) to:

Step by Step: Installing and Configuring the Agent
- Download the Installer: Download
Winvoice Agent Setup.exevia the link above to the server. - Run as Administrator: Right-click the installer file and select Run as administrator.
- Generate Agent Token in Winvoice:
- Log in to app.winvoice.se as an administrator.
- Navigate to Settings -> Integrations -> Winvoice Agent.
- Click Generate New Agent Key / Token and copy the generated code.
- Configure in the Installation Wizard:
- Paste your Agent Token into the installation window.
- Click Browse and specify the path to your shared Visma company directory (e.g.
\\SERVER\SPCS\Företag\FÖRETAG01orC:\ProgramData\SPCS\SPCS Administration\Företag\FÖRETAG01).
- Install: Click Install and start service.
- Verify Status:
- Open Windows Services (
services.msc) and verify that Winvoice Agent Service is running (Running). - Return to Winvoice in your browser: Under Winvoice Agent, the status should now show a green checkmark (Connected / Last contact: Just now).

Automatic Updates (Auto-Updater Sidecar)
Winvoice Agent includes a built-in updater sidecar that communicates over secure Named Pipes:
- When a new version of the Agent is released, the service detects it automatically.
- The updater downloads the signed package, safely stops the service between synchronization jobs, applies the update, and restarts the service without requiring manual administrator intervention.
