Connecting Winvoice to Visma Administration (500/1000/2000)
For businesses running the classic on-premise systems Visma Administration 500, 1000, or 2000 on a local Windows Server or workstation, Winvoice provides a robust integration via Winvoice Agent.
How On-Premise Synchronization Works
Because Visma Administration is a local desktop application, Winvoice Agent is installed as an automated background service (Windows Service) on the server or workstation where the company database is located:
- Local Read: The agent reads the company's supplier register, chart of accounts, cost centers, and projects directly from the Visma Administration database.
- Encrypted Transmission: Registers are encrypted and transmitted over outbound HTTPS (port 443) to the Winvoice cloud platform. No inbound ports need to be opened in your firewall!
- Cloud Approval: Approvers review and approve invoices in the Winvoice web interface or mobile app wherever they are located.
- Local Export: Once the invoice is fully approved, the Agent retrieves the voucher and creates the supplier invoice directly in Visma Administration, complete with a link to the original PDF.
Installation Overview
- Download the Agent: Download the installer via Download Agent.
- Install on the Server: Run the setup wizard on the computer or virtual server where Visma Administration is installed.
- Enter API Key: Generate an API key under Settings -> Integrations -> Winvoice Agent in the Winvoice web app and paste it into the setup wizard.
- Specify the Company Folder: Browse to the path of your shared company folder (e.g.
C:\ProgramData\SPCS\SPCS Administration\Företag\FÖRETAG01). - Start the Service: The Agent starts and verifies the connection.
