AutoInvoice, Inexchange & Peppol (E-Invoicing)

Electronic invoices (E-invoicing) are the fastest, most secure, and most environmentally friendly way to receive supplier invoices. Through Winvoice's built-in support for AutoInvoice, Inexchange, and the Peppol network, invoices arrive structured in digital XML format directly into the system.

Benefits of Peppol & E-Invoicing

  • 100% Capture Precision: No interpretation errors, missed digits, or unreadable characters. Amounts, VAT, bank details, and due dates are mathematically exact.
  • Line Details with 4 Decimals: Complete item lines, quantities, and unit prices transfer directly from the vendor's system.
  • Instant Delivery: The invoice is available in Winvoice within seconds after the supplier sends it, without OCR processing delays.
  • Automated Rule Matching: Fields such as Buyer Reference and purchase order numbers are extracted from standardized XML tags, enabling automatic routing to the correct approver or direct purchase order matching.

Supported Formats & Standards

Winvoice receives and processes the following standardized formats:

  • Peppol BIS Billing 3.0: The common European standard for electronic invoicing across private and public sectors.
  • EHF Billing 3.0: Norwegian standard for electronic trade format.
  • Svefaktura 1.0 & 2.0: Established Swedish electronic invoice format.
  • PDF with Embedded XML (ZUGFeRD / Factur-X): Hybrid invoices containing both a visual PDF and machine-readable XML.

Enabling Peppol Reception

To start receiving Peppol invoices directly in Winvoice:

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Company Details -> E-Invoicing.
  2. Verify that the company's Corporate Registration Number or GLN (Global Location Number) is entered correctly.
  3. Click Register in Peppol Directory.
  4. Winvoice registers your organization as a recipient in the international Peppol Directory.
  5. Provide your suppliers with your Peppol ID (typically your Swedish or Norwegian registration number with country prefix, e.g. 0007:5560000000 in Sweden or 0192:999888777 in Norway).
